We were honoured to be visited at yesterday’s game against Bearsted, by the wife and niece of our former player Mike Ford, who sadly passed away last month. Mike, fifth from left in the back row of this 1972 team picture, played for Fisher Athletic throughout the 1970s, as a prolific centre forward as we rose through the Kent Amatuer and Spartan League.

We dedicate yesterday’s win to his memory.
