Legends Day at St Paul’s – Saturday 8 December
Calling all Fisher old boys, ex-players and famous names from the past
Saturday December 8th will see us open the doors and welcome a host of former players and iconic names and faces of the past as we take on Chatham Town for the first time in the SCEFL Premier Division.
The event will allow famous Fisher faces granted free entry to the game as we celebrate the club’s history and past success in acknowledging the 110th anniversary of Fisher Athletic’s original formation and approach the 10th birthday of Fisher FC.
Organised by Jim Maycock and Bert Kite, the event is hoped to draw a bumper crowd for our final home game of 2018 for what will be a vital fixture between two of the top six in the table. Please join us and catch up with a few old faces for what promises to be a very enjoyable afternoon for the club.
The game also ties in with our annual “Alternative Merry Fishmas” even, which returns for its fourth season and will be bigger than ever before! As always we will be raffling off a Christmas Hamper full of a whole range of Christmas goodies and Fisher essentials. We will also have a range of activities going on and the Club Shop will have a selection of Christmas gifts on sale alongside the usual range of club merchandise.
As ever, the turnstiles, the Club Shop and the Fisherman’s Rest will be open from 1.30 for a 3pm kick off, so get here early to make the most of what we hope to be a fun and enjoyable afternoon at St Pauls!
